The insolvency of FTI Touristik GmbH leads to the immediate cessation of all services by FTI. The booked and paid trips will no longer take place and are canceled. Therefore, FTI's customers not only have to cancel their vacations but also suffer significant financial loss.
Affected holidaymakers can claim their damages from the German Travel Insurance Fund, which only covers package tours. All other damages must be claimed from the insolvency administrator.
